Natural Medicine and Its Multiple Benefits
Too many people these days are in medicine for things that are caused by poor nutrition. A healthy diet not only keeps your weight under control, it also prevents against some serious diseases, such as cancer and diabetes.
All of the preservatives in packaged foods have the tendency to cause disease. Our bodies were designed to digest the food that is grown from the earth, not the “food” that is made in factories around the world.
For every disease, there is a cure somewhere on this earth.
Even the healthiest person can get sick or injured. For a lot of people this means going to the doctor. While doctors are indeed needed in this world for serious things such as setting bones and surgeries, they are not always needed for something like the flu, bronchitis, a UTI, or any of the numerous things they see thousands of people a day for.
If you are a coffee person, you may want to have just one cup of coffee when you wake up, and enjoy tea for the remainder of your day. Tea is one of the easiest ways to ingest the different herbs that can combat many illnesses. Green tea helps prevent and treat many things due to the antioxidants it provides. It also helps with keeping you feeling and looking younger. Ginger tea helps you cough up the infected mucous from colds and bronchitis.
Add lemon to that for a good flavor and added health benefits such as reducing fevers. You can make your own teas with boiling water, spices, and 100 percent pure juices, or you can buy them at your local grocery store. Three cups a day or more when you are sick, with the herbs to combat the sickness you have, is recommended. If you need a sweetener, use raw organic honey rather than white sugar, as there are many health benefits you will get from honey.
Some natural medicines that are too often overlooked are baking soda, lemon juice, and apple cider vinegar. They can help cure sickness and disease as well as contribute to preventing it when taken a few times a week. A good way to make sure you are getting the benefits of each is to take one dose daily, alternating, first baking soda, then lemon juice, then apple cider vinegar.
Use one cup of water, and mix in either one teaspoon baking soda, or two tablespoons lemon juice or apple cider vinegar. Use aluminum-free baking soda and 100 percent organic, not-from-concentrate, no sugar added lemon juice. Apple cider vinegar should be organic and unfiltered. These simple and natural medicines help prevent and treat everything from UTIs to cancer to obesity, and are much lighter on your wallet than prescription drugs.
